Long Term Care

The home looks after  older  adults with  varying care and social needs ranging from lonliness to the extremes of mental illnesses. To meet these needs we have well-trained and qualified staff. We are focused on the highest quality of care for the individual and incorporate personal preferences in care plans to ensure a seamless continuity of care.

The care within the home is led and supervised by the manager who is supported by a team of qualified and experienced staff, who are regularly assessed and monitored by care sector regulators. The team delivers care with patience, kindness and understanding within a warm, safe, comfortable and homely environment that provides stimulation and encourages independence.

Medication and treatments are administered by specifically trained senior staff. Doctors and Nurses from local practices visit the home on a regular basis or by individual appointment.

Residents may choose to retain their own family Group Practitioner (GP), alternatively an introduction to a new practice can be made.

The home has close relationships with various therapists, dentists, opticians, chiropodists, psychiatric nurses and dieticians whose services can enhance the residents’ quality of life.

We can also arrange for private appointments with hairdressers, chiropodists, mobility specialists and other professionals whose services are charged at cost.
